Allen Stanford, the American billionaire who invested in cricket in the Caribbean, has been deemed unfit to stand trial on charges of running a $7 billion fraud and needs treatment for a drug addiction, a US judge has ruled.Stanford is facing charges of fraud, money laundering and obstruction but the court has ruled him incompetent to face trial. He sustained an injury after being attacked in jail in 2009 and has become addicted to the medication he was prescribed for treating depression and anxiety.”The court finds Stanford is incompetent to stand trial at this time based on his apparent impaired ability to rationally assist his attorneys in preparing his defense,” US District Judge David Hittner wrote in his ruling in Houston, Texas.Hittner denied a request by Stanford’s lawyers to release him on bond and place him in a private treatment facility for his addiction, ordering him instead to be committed to the custody of the attorney general to “undergo medical treatment for his current impaired mental capacity” and eventually take a competency exam. The judge also recommended that Stanford be sent to a medical facility within the US Bureau of Prisons.Stanford became famous in the cricket world after creating the Stanford 20/20 tournament in the West Indies. Acho que primeiro temos que fazer o maior número de pontos possíveis para livrar o rebaixamento, depois vamos em busca de classificar e buscar o acesso. Mas vamos precisar ser muito regulares e ganhar jogos em casa será fundamental – explicou o arqueiro.

Para Simão, o fato de o Volta Redonda estar em uma espécie de intertemporada não será preponderante para a estreia no Brasileirão. Dividir as atenções com o Estadual será necessário mesmo com o alto grau de dificuldde e exigência do campeonato nacional.

– Não seria uma desvantagem, é uma competição totalmente diferente, tem o lado bom de estar jogando, adquirindo ritmo de jogo, mas sabemos que a Série C é um nível muito mais alto que vai exigir muita atenção e concentração a cada jogo. O volante David segue se recuperando de uma contusão grau dois no músculo adutor da coxa esquerda, assim como Giovanni, que foi diagnosticado com uma lesão grau um no reto femoral da coxa direita e pode demorar pelo menos três semanas para retornar aos treinos normalmente. O meia-atacante Matheusinho, com uma lesão no joelho, tem previsão de retorno para junho.

A equipe volta aos treinos nesta terça-feira, às 15h30, no CT Lanna Drumond para o duelo contra o Flamengo, válido pela segunda rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. No Maracanã, as equipes se enfrentam às 19h do próximo sábado.

كشف أحمد حسام ميدو لاعب ومدرب الزمالك، عن رغبة مسؤولي قطاع الكرة بالقلعة البيضاء في التعاقد مع مدافع من أجل تدعيم صفوف الفريق.

وقال ميدو في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية  “المحور” عبر برنامجه “الريمونتادا”: “جيسفالدو فيريرا مدرب الزمالك يحتاج للتعاقد مع مدافع”.

وأضاف: “فيريرا أبلغ الزمالك أنه حال التعاقد مع مدافع يكون أحمد ياسين لاعب البنك الأهلي”.

وتابع: “هناك خطين مفتوحين هو التعاقد مع أحمد ياسين أو عودة محمود شبانة إلى الزمالك”.

وتطرق ميدو للحديث عن عقوبة محمد مجدي أفشة لاعب الأهلي قائلًا: “العقوبة ليس بسبب إضاعة ضربة جزاء ولكن بسبب مخالفة التعليمات الفنية، ما أحزن مارسيل كولر أن اللاعب خرج عن النظام في ترتيب ضربات الجزاء”.

واستكمل: “نصحيتي لـ أفشة انسى موضوع تجديد العقد والأموال، يتبقي في عقدك سنتين، ادائك متراجع منذ عام ولا يؤهلك للمشاركة بشكل أساسي مع الأهلي أو الانضمام لمنتخب مصر”.

واستطرد: “أجبر الناس على أن تجدد لك عقدك وتكون فئة أولى بادائك في الملعب وليس بالبحث عن عروض الاحتراف، الأمور في الكرة لا تسير بهذا الشكل ولا تضغط على الأهلي من أجل تجديد عقدك”.

Nesta quarta-feira, o clube pretende solicitar a anulação do jogo.

Após Marcelo Monteiro anunciar nessa segunda-feira que arquivará o caso, a Procuradoria do TJD pode fazer a denúncia da interferência externa, uma possibilidade que, segundo envolvidos no processo, é remota. Mas o Palmeiras, como parte legal do processo, pode entrar com pedido de impugnação da partida até quarta-feira. E exercerá seu direito recorrendo com provas que considera irrefutáveis de irregularidade na condução da arbitragem ao desistir da marcação do pênalti de Ralf sobre Dudu, no segundo tempo da decisão.

O Verdão tem como principal trunfo o material da Kroll, empresa especializada em investigação que o clube contratou. O LANCE! teve acessoà parte do relatório da Kroll que apresenta imagens de Marcio Verri Brandão, membro da comissão de arbitragem da FPF (Federação Paulista de Futebol), usando celular à beira do campo e em dois outros momentos diferentes no jogo. A prática é irregular. Esses documentos serão encaminhados para o TJD nesta quarta-feira.

O Palmeiras enviou à Kroll e ao TJD exatamente as mesmas imagens, que fazem parte do material bruto da transmissão feita pela TV Palmeiras, canal do clube no YouTube, e se surpreendeu ao ver que o auditor Marcelo Monteiro e sua equipe não enxergaram o celular na mão de Verri à beira do campo. Questionado sobre o caso, o auditor disse que “nos autos nada existe nesse sentido”.

Em seu relatório, o auditor aponta que os depoimentos de membros de arbitragem na semana passada “deixaram dúvida, com variação nas respostas, mas sem pontos determinantes para tese de falso testemunho”. A investigação da Kroll, porém, apresenta provas de incoerências nos depoimentos, e esse material também será enviado ao TJD nesta quarta-feira.

O pedido de impugnação para julgamento no Pleno do TJD-SP é só um dos passos que o Palmeiras pode dar para tentar provar a interferência externa na arbitragem do Dérbi do último dia 8. Caso não tenha sucesso, ainda caberá recurso no STJD (Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva), no Rio de Janeiro. Depois disso, a última instância esportiva a ser procurada pelo clube é o CAS, Corte Arbitral do Esporte, na Suíça.
