Na casa dos 29 minutos, o Furacão viu o prejuízo aumentar com Marcelinho, que anotou o terceiro gol do Londrina.

Na etapa final o CAP voltou mais ligado no ataque. O resultado veio aos 13 minutos, quando Erick recebeu em ótima condição na grande área e diminuiu.

Apesar do esforço dos visitantes, aos 42 o golpe final do Londrina veio com Luidy, que ao dominar na grande área bateu cruzado e saiu para o abraço dos companheiros.

Andy Flower has declined to deny suggestions that he is considering stepping down from his day-to-day coaching position with the England Test team.Flower, responding to a story first published by ESPNcricinfo on August 22, insisted he was “not thinking about” the vacancy created by Hugh Morris’ decision to move on from his role as managing director of England cricket, but would not give any guarantees over his long-term future.Flower, who has a young family and has been in the England job since early 2009, scaled back his workload at the end of 2012 in a bid to improve his work-life balance. While he remains team director in all formats, the day-to-day coaching of the limited overs team passed to Ashley Giles. It is believed a similar arrangement is under consideration for the Test team, with Flower not currently committing himself beyond the end of the tour to Australia in January.”I’ve always said you can’t look too far ahead,” Flower said. “You never know what’s just round the corner.”Would I fancy Hugh’s job? I’m not even thinking about that.”England’s relentless schedule has increased the risk of burnout to players and coaches for some time. But while the next few months are as hectic as normal, the end of 2014 offers some respite. England play only one overseas Test next year, in Sydney at the start of January, with the focus later in the year moving to ODI cricket ahead of the World Cup in February and March 2015. Such factors could persuade Flower to remain in position for a while longer.”The reason [in stepping back] was to get a better work-life balance. Being away from home for 250 days a year didn’t allow that. And we were also looking at maximising the use of our resources, in this instance our coaching resources. The structure is still bedding down, but having two coaches dovetailing may well be the best use of the ECB’s resources.”I do take the responsibility that the ECB have given me very seriously,” Flower said. “I’m supposed to make a difference to English cricket in a positive way and I take that responsibility very seriously. I’ll continue to do that.”I don’t have a fixed term contract. I’m very happy with the balance and I’m still enjoying the job. Very much so.”More importantly this series has worked pretty well: we won 3-0. That’s the important thing.”Next year our only away Test is in Sydney. There will be a priority switch to the 2015 World Cup at some stage. It’s too far away to think if I will be there. I don’t think I’ll be under-employed. There’s always plenty to do. I’ve always said you can’t look too far ahead.”If Flower does apply for Morris’ job, it appears he will have the support of his predecessor. Morris, who suggested there will be “an open recruitment” process to fill his role, was effusive in his praise of Flower.”I think whatever role Andy wants to do in the future he will do outstandingly well,” Morris said. “He is somebody who I’ve always admired before he came into the ECB as a player as a person. He has done an outstanding job in his current role. Whatever he wants to put his mind to do in the future, he will do well.”But Morris was also full of praise for Andrew Strauss. While he only retired as a player 12-months ago, Strauss has spent part of this year shadowing Morris in his role and learning some of the skills required for a job in administration.”Similar to Andy, Strauss is an incredibly capable bloke,” Morris said. “He said to me a while ago that when he finished playing he wanted to dip his toe in the water, try different things, see what he enjoyed doing, and then make some decisions. So he is, again, an outstanding man, and whatever he wants to do he will do incredibly well.”I think there will be a lot of people who will fancy a crack at the job. And quite rightly. It is a fantastic job. I have been really lucky to have done it, and done it for as long as I have done. It is a really great department full of really good people. I think we have got some systems in place now for talented kids at the age of 16 all the way through to Cooky, so hopefully they will inherit something that is a very professional system with a lot of good people in it.”

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is contemplating a series-based deal with broadcasters for the forthcoming matches in this season. Pakistan are scheduled to play two Tests, five ODIs and two T20s against South Africa in Sharjah and Dubai, from October 14. They are also scheduled to play Sri Lanka in the UAE, although the two boards have not confirmed the dates.The PCB is yet to finalise a broadcasting deal after its five-year contract with TEN Sports, worth $140 million, ended last month. However, the PCB incurred a loss of nearly $80 million on this deal, following the cancellation of bilateral series against India between 2009 and 2011. The broadcasting deal is one of the major sources of income for the PCB and, with no series against India scheduled until 2020, these could be testing times for the board as it may be hit by a financial crunch following a long-standing budget-deficit. In 2011-12, the deficit was nearly 700 million Pakistani rupees.The PCB’s Governing Board, in their emergency meeting at the National Cricket Academy, has decided to appoint the former ICC president Ehsan Mani as their advisor on their television deal.”We are yet to issue a tender for the broadcaster after finishing our five-year deal last month,” a PCB spokesman told ESPNcricinfo. “It requires a specific procedural time and systematic restructuring of the bidding process and finalising the deal. But we have an alternative, i.e. to go with a series-by-series deal – in case we need that for any of our upcoming home series – before going into a long-term deal with a broadcaster.”The interim setup of the PCB may also be affecting its chances of securing a long-term deal. The suspension of Zaka Ashraf as chairman led to a delay in the PCB budget this year and the process of renewing the broadcasting deal was also delayed as a result. The PCB’s functions were on hold for almost a month, until the appointment of interim chairman Najam Sethi. The Islamabad High Court has ordered Sethi to hold elections within 90 days but has not given a detailed order. Although the PCB refused to comment on its internal functioning, it has confirmed that the bidding process for a broadcaster is currently on hold, with various other issues taking precedence. It is likely the board may look to secure a six-year deal next year, once a more stable administrative setup is in place.

Em meio à disputa da Série A2 do Campeonato Paulista, o Atibaia anunciou a contratação de mais um jogador para reforçar o elenco. A novidade é o atacante Wesley, de 22 anos, que fez parte do Fortaleza na conquista do Campeonato Brasileiro da Série B em 2018, e estava no Altos-PI – pelo qual fez apenas um jogo.

– Como venho conversando com a diretoria, não vim aqui para passear, mas sim para conquistar o objetivo do clube, que é o acesso. Temos mais seis jogos e se Deus quiser, eu e toda equipe vamos buscar os resultados positivos. Ano passado, tivemos uma temporada brilhante, com o acesso para a Série A. Agora estou chegando aqui para fazer a mesma coisa, gosto de colocar meu nome na história”, disse Wesley.

O atacante chega ao clube do interior paulista já apto para entrar em campo. A próxima partida do Atibaia será no sábado, às 16h, contra a Portuguesa Santista. Para ele, é o primeiro passo para engatar uma boa sequência no Estadual.

“Temos que focar primeiro no sábado, para depois pensarmos no próximo jogo. Temos que ganhar com todo respeito e humildade, mas colocar a bola para dentro, correr, suar e ter o objetivo somente da vitória. Eu vinha treinando, não sou de ficar acomodado dentro de casa. Estava no Fortaleza até novembro, depois fui para o Altos-PI e já vim para cá, fui muito bem recebido por toda comissão técnica e pelo grupo”, afirmou.

Pelo Fortaleza, em 2018, Wesley “Pibinha” fez 19 jogos e anotou dois gols. Pelo Altos, do Piauí, atuou em apenas uma partida, pelo estadual, a única do jogador nesta nesta temporada.

A magnificent century from James Vince carried Hampshire to a crushing nine wicket victory over Essex in the opening Yorkshire Bank 40 match of the new season at Chelmsford.Vince smashed an unbeaten 129 from 93 deliveries and shared in an opening partnership of 156 in only 17 overs with Michael Carberry as the visitors surpassed the target with 10.2 overs to spare.Their blitz on the Essex bowlers saw them raise the 100 in a mere 9.2 overs with Reece Topley and Sajid Mahmood suffering most. Mahmood, making his first appearance for the county following his move from Lancashire, conceded 34 runs in his first two overs while Topley went for 26.Vince needed just 27 deliveries to record his half-century and a further 44 to move into three figures with the help of 15 fours and a six. By then, he had lost Carberry for 65 made off 51 balls and containing eight fours and a six. He departed when giving a return catch to Graham Napier but that proved Essex’s solitary success as Jimmy Adams, with an unbeaten 29, helped Vince to see them home. In all, Vince hit 17 fours and a six and was just two runs short of equaling his competition best.Hampshire’s triumph came after a late surge from Napier and Greg Smith had led Essex to what appeared a challenging total. They added 93 in 51 deliveries for the sixth wicket after coming together in the 31st over with the total on 143.Napier, fresh from his heroics in the Championship victory two days earlier when he scored an unbeaten 78, made 50 from 29 balls before he was caught on the boundary from the last ball of the innings. Napier’s effort contained two sixes and five fours while Smith made 43, which included a six and six fours from 33 deliveries until he was bowled by Chris Wood..Earlier Australian left-hander Bobby Quiney struck a fluent 71 from 87 balls with the help of six fours and a six. His effort ended when he was bowled by Hamza Riazuddin after sharing in half-century stands with fellow opener Tom Westley (34) and Mark Pettini.But there was no joy for Ravi Bopara who had hoped to celebrate his inclusion in England’s Champions Trophy squad. وعن صفقة جيريرو، تحدث مستشار بايرن ميونخ عن الصفقة، وقال: “لقد نجحنا في الحصول على توقيع لاعبين مميزين مثل جيريرو وكذلك كونراد لايمر”.

باغت مانشيني فريقه روما، بهدف عكسي، ليمنح التعادل لإشبيلية في المباراة الجارية بين الفريقين في نهائي الدوري الأوروبي.
